- Your own bathroom in the room. Nothing shared along the corridor.
- Air conditioning you set yourself, which for a month in Bangkok matters more than almost anything else on this list.
- Wi-Fi in the room, at no extra charge on top of the monthly rate.
- A television in the room. Channel line-ups differ from property to property.
- A compact cooking corner, in the room types that have one. Residence rooms are where to look for it.
- A fridge in the room, so groceries and leftovers are an option rather than eating out three times a day.
- Cleaning and fresh linen on a schedule you choose, rather than daily by default. Frequency is set in your package.
- Staff in the building for parcels, visitors, maintenance and the questions a month throws up.
- What the building itself offers residents. It differs by property, so ask about the one you are booking.
- Every property sits close to transport and everyday shops, which is what makes a month here workable without a car.
- Laundry arranged through the property, charged separately or folded into a monthly package.
