Arawana Regency Park Sukhumvit is our 4-star hotel on Sukhumvit 22, about a five-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong. From there the skytrain reaches Siam, Asok and Silom quickly and cheaply. For a first visit, that makes this one of the easier addresses in the city.
Emporium and EmQuartier are at the end of the street and Benjasiri Park is beside them; Terminal 21 is one stop away at Asok. The soi itself is quieter than Sukhumvit Road, so you get the access without sleeping over the traffic.

Central Bangkok's big three. Emporium and EmQuartier face each other at the end of the street, and Terminal 21 is a short hop up the line, so a rainy afternoon never has to be a wasted one.
They are all on foot from the hotel.
BTS & MRT Transport Access
BTS Phrom Phong sits beside Emporium, and one stop along at Asok the skytrain meets the MRT underground by Terminal 21. Between the two you can reach most of the city without ever getting into a taxi.
Both stations are a short walk from the hotel.
Benjasiri Park
Eleven and a half acres of lawns, lakes and planting tucked in beside the malls, and the closest thing to quiet on this stretch of Sukhumvit. Hire a bicycle, take a boat out, or turn up for one of the open-air concerts.

Samitivej Hospital, Camillian Hospital
Worth knowing where these are before you need them. Samitivej, on Sukhumvit Soi 39, is JCI-accredited and used to international patients; Camillian, on Thonglor, is a smaller non-profit private hospital.
Both are minutes from the hotel.
J Avenue, K-Village / Nihonmachi
Low-rise community malls on Thonglor Soi 15 and Sukhumvit Soi 26, where the neighbourhood actually eats: restaurants, coffee shops, bars, a supermarket run, and a bowling alley for the evening that needs a plan.
