パタヤの評判はうるさいです。北パタヤはその対照です。海沿い、便利、数日暮らすには楽です。潮風と使える街区が欲しい客には、こちらを勧めます。海岸は別の章にしてください。ビーチかプール、モールの午後ひとつ、夜遊びは本当に欲しい分だけ。
Regency North Pattaya は、この遅い海岸の4つ星です。プール、カップルと家族向けの部屋、近くに Terminal 21 Pattaya。窓の外は Walking Street の音ではありません。
The short version
- 北パタヤは Dolphin Roundabout から Naklua を経て Wong Amat まで。中パタヤと南パタヤより静かです。
- Terminal 21 Pattaya がこの一帯の錨のモールです。展望、国際フードコート、使いやすいタクシー。
- Wong Amat Beach の砂は中央ビーチよりきれいで静かです。日の出と日没がよいです。
- Naklua の魚市場で鮮魚を買い、近くの店で調理してもらい、自分の海鮮にできます。
- Arawana Regency North Pattaya と Express North Pattaya は、Terminal 21 とビーチの徒歩圏です。
北パタヤは、実際どんな感じか
北パタヤは湾の上側です。遊歩道は静かで、夜は過ごしやすく、Terminal 21 Pattaya 周辺のモールも使えます。パタヤではありますが、南端のように窓の外が夜通し夜市、という感じではありません。
家族、カップル、潮風は欲しいがパーティー日程はいらないバンコクの週末客は、こちらを好みがちです。Walking Street が来た理由なら南に泊まり、北はビーチの時間に残してください。

ビーチと屋外の時間
Wong Amat は、歩くにも泳ぐにも、きれいめの静かな区間です。北パタヤビーチは、いちばん密度の高い人混みに入らず日没を見られます。週末に場所が欲しいなら、もっと早く行ってください。
水を持ち、暑さを見込んで、ビーチは一日の一部にしてください。一日中焼く場所ではありません。Regency North Pattaya のプールがあるのは、そのためです。

モール、食事、用事
Terminal 21 Pattaya が、今の買い物と頼れるフードコートを支えます。雨の日に特に役立ちます。Central Marina と地元のプラザで用事は足ります。薬局も、簡単な夕食も、なくなりません。
変化が欲しいなら、中パタヤまで短く乗れば足ります。そこに泊まらなくても、夜のひとつは使えます。

静かな湾が旅なら、Regency North Pattaya。寝る場所と立地が主なら、Express North。Walking Street が来た理由なら、南にしてください。
Naklua Fish Market
Lan Pho Naklua Fish Market is where Pattaya locals buy seafood — rows of stalls selling prawns, crab, squid and whole fish straight off the boats, priced by the kilo. Pick your catch, then walk to one of the surrounding restaurants that will grill, steam or stir-fry it for a cooking fee of 50–100 baht per dish.
Arrive before 10am for the freshest selection and smallest crowds. Weekends are busier but more atmospheric. Budget 400–800 baht per person for a generous seafood lunch including cooking fees. Cash preferred. Pair with a cold Chang beer at a plastic table overlooking the water.

Regency North、Express North、南の選び方
Regency North Pattaya：フルサービスの拠点で、プールがあり、部屋はカップルと家族に足ります。Express North：寝る場所と立地が主なら、より単純な料金です。Regency South：夜が賑やかな南湾まわりのときです。
バンコクから陸路は1.5〜2時間を見てください。祝日の週末はもっとかかります。黄昏前に着けるなら、着けてください。

Teddy Bear Museum
The Teddy Bear Museum on Beach Road packs themed rooms with thousands of stuffed bears — fairy tales, space adventures, a safari zone and a bear-sized Sistine Chapel parody. Kids under 10 love it; adults will smile at the sheer commitment to the concept.
Allow 60–90 minutes. Tickets around 300–500 baht. Open daily 9am–10pm. Combine with a morning at Wong Amat Beach (10 minutes north) or an afternoon at Terminal 21 (5 minutes inland). Not a must-see for solo adult travellers, but a solid family rainy-day option.

Sanctuary of Truth
The Sanctuary of Truth is an all-wood temple on the Naklua headland — every surface carved by hand with Hindu and Buddhist motifs, rising 105 metres above the sea. Construction began in 1981 and continues today; the intricacy is staggering even if the project is unfinished.
Guided tours run every 30 minutes and explain the symbolism behind the carvings. Dress modestly (shoulders and knees covered; sarongs available at the entrance). Allow 90 minutes. Tickets around 500 baht. Best visited in the morning before tour-bus crowds arrive at 11am.

Ways to string it together
ゆるい北パタヤの一日
朝はビーチ、午後はモール、市場で夕食。
- 午前7時：Wong Amat Beach の日の出の散歩。海辺のカフェでコーヒー。
- 午前10時：Terminal 21 Pattaya で買い物、Pier 21 フードコートで昼食。
- 午後2時：Art in Paradise の3D 館（約90分、子ども向き）。
- 午後5時：Naklua の魚市場。エビとイカを選び、近くの店で焼いてもらう。
- 午後8時：Arawana Regency North Pattaya へ早めに戻る。
バンコクからの家族の週末
パーティー場面のない、2日の見どころ。
- 土曜の朝：バンコクから車かバス。チェックイン後、ホテルのプールで泳ぐ。
- 土曜の午後：Teddy Bear Museum と真実の聖域（寺は2時間見てください）。
- 日曜の朝：Wong Amat Beach と Lan Pho Naklua の海鮮市場。
- 日曜の午後：Central Marina で土産を買い、車で戻る。
Planning your visit
- バンコクからの行き方
- 高速でおよそ90〜120分、車次第です。Ekkamai か Mo Chit のバスはおよそ1時間に1本、パタヤのバスステーションへ（そこから南へタクシー約20分）。空港鉄道はありません。車、バン、バスを見てください。
- 北パタヤの中の動き方
- ソンテオ（乗り合いのピックアップ）が Beach Road と Second Road を走り、10バーツです。真実の聖域や Naklua 市場へは Grab が使えます。Terminal 21 の近くに泊まれば、このガイドの多くは歩けます。
- いつ行くのがよいか
- 11月から2月は乾いて涼しく、ビーチ歩きに向きます。ソンクラーン（4月中旬）は混みますが、賑やかです。雨季（6月から10月）は午後に通り雨があります。朝は屋外の予定に足ります。
- 誰向きか
- ビーチは欲しいが Walking Street の混乱はいらない家族、カップル、長期滞在。夜遊びはタクシーで届きます（中パタヤまで約15分）。ただし玄関先ではありません。
北パタヤは、海岸は欲しいが混乱はいらない人に応えます。Wong Amat の朝、Terminal 21 の午後、Naklua 市場の鮮魚、チークで彫った寺。遅いパタヤです。夜遊びの通りは、欲しいときに短く乗れます。
